Few entertainment properties have as particular a brand voice as The Simpsons. Whatever the creative concept for this animated powerhouse, either it’s on the money, or it’s way off. To support The Simpsons legendary licensing program, Fox L&M enlisted HCI to create seasonal and event-based style guides.
To accomplish this, we worked closely with Fox’s L&M team to create an integrated suite of assets for Valentine’s day, delivering product concepts, copy lines, and flexible graphics. The challenge with The Simpsons Movie guide was to create a packaging program that clearly differentiated from the previous TV-based product lines, but that still leveraged the existing equity of the beloved brand.
